Dr. Russo is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediat-ric Association (ICPA) and is certified in a special low force technique called the Webster Technique for aligning the pelvis which helps for ease of delivery. Dr. Russo also recommends and advises on nutrition and supplementation for increasing milk production for nursing mothers.
Post delivery, a mother's body has experienced numerous traumas which can result in incidents of arm, shoulder pain and weakness. This can be caused from pushing and muscle recruit-
ment, making a nursing mothers' job more challenging to secure the infant while he/she is latching on.
Getting adjusted as soon as possible after delivery can help align the neck, shoulders, and upper back, allowing the mother to bond with her infant with out pain.
