Meet Dr. Laura Russo
Dr. Laura L. Russo was first inspired to pursue the Chiropractic profession at a young age when she was injured during gymnastics class. Her parents then took her to a chiropractor to be adjusted. After a series of chiropractic treatments, the pinched nerve in Dr. Russo's neck was fully recovered. The immediate relief and benefits she received from the chiropractor encouraged her to pursue her career in Chiropractic, and she later received her Bachelor of Science degree from Fredonia State University in 2001, followed by her Doctoral degree from NYCC, New York Chiropractic College, in 2005.
Now, Dr. Russo is happily married and has two therapy dogs, that occasionally come to the office to visit. She has a family practice centered on health and wellness. In her office she treats patients of all ages, and conditions such as: sport-related injuries, auto-accidents, acute conditions, and chronic conditions. Her techniques are gentle, and use a combination of adjustment techniques, physical therapy, spinal decompression, stretches, and exercises for treatment plans to get you on the path to overall body health. Dr. Russo is also certified in the Webster Technique affectionately referred to as (turning breech babies). Dr. Russo aids the pregnant mother during the entire pregnancy and all allows for safe drug-free methods of pain relief and ease of delivery by taking care of the physical, emotional, and chemical stresses being placed on mother and baby.
Dr. Russo has on site massage therapy, she recognizes that massage therapy is an important part of the health-care process and over sees and instructs the therapist in a cohesive team effort for the rehabilitation of the patient. She employes only certified licensed therapist of the highest quality and training to assist in meeting the patients over all health care needs.
